Advanced Functionality

Holistic Design Philosophy
The design and execution of the RM 17-01 follow a holistic approach, where the movement, case, and dial are conceived in complete harmony, much like the chassis and engine of a Formula 1 car. The movement is mounted on chassis mounting rubbers (ISO SW) and fixed with grade 5 titanium screws, eliminating the need for a traditional casing ring. The torque-limiting crown adds a layer of security, preventing accidental overwinding and protecting the integrity of the movement.
